Ludewig, with the help of his son, meticulously restored the car, and it now boasts a 1984 302 V8 engine and overdrive. The couple has even created back seat pillows that depict the car's transformation, showcasing their dedication to preserving its history. Mark Dauer's 1970 Dodge Challenger RT/SE, an orange beauty with a 383 Magnum V8 engine and air conditioning, is a rare find from an era when such features were not commonplace. Dauer's quest for a sports car with air conditioning led him to Ohio, where he found the perfect match. Dean Lindquist, a New Ulm resident, brings his 1955 Cadillac Series 62 to the roll-in, but his heart truly belongs to his 1950 Mercury. Ed McCormick, a retired chief financial officer from Newark, New Jersey, adds a unique twist to the event. Traveling across the United States in a late-model Subaru, McCormick is on a mission to visit all 50 states, having already seen 39. His journey takes him to Minnesota for the first time, and he plans to continue exploring Alaska, Oklahoma, Washington, and Oregon in the near future.
